Dr.B.M.Reddy
Dr. Benjaram
M. Reddy is a versatile
chemist with varied experience in catalysis, physical chemistry, organic
chemistry and materials science, with special emphasis in the areas of nanomaterials
and green technologies.
He started his scientific research career in the year 1984 at the Indian Institute of Chemical
Technology, Hyderabad,
where he holds a Deputy Director
position. He has been a visiting scientist/ an award fellow at the
Institute of Catalysis, Novosibrisk, Russia
(1986-87), Institute of Physical Chemistry, LMU, Munich, Germany (1988-89 and 1998-99), State University of
New York, Buffalo, USA (1993-94), Texas A&M University, College Station,
USA (1994-95), AIST, Osaka, Japan (2001), Institute for Research on Catalysis,
Lyon, France (2001, 2003 and 2005) and Inha
University, South Korea (2007-08). His academic vsit
includes Italy, South Africa and Hungary as Indian delegate member
on Science and Technology activities.
Dr. Reddy is the recipient of prestigious CSIR Young Scientist Award and Catalysis Society of India Young
Scientist Award in addition to several other awards, fellowships and
honours. Dr. Reddy
guided more than 15 Ph D students and 3 M Tech students for their
degrees. He has around 150
research publications in high quality international and national
journals and 8 patents to his credit.
